Actuary Positions in Federal Government Agency

Key Requirements for EL2 Actuaries:
* An associate actuary progressing towards fellowship status.
* No less than 10–15 years of relevant actuarial experience.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications are required.
Key Responsibilities for APS6 Actuaries:
* Lead and manage team activities within delegated authority.
* Provide technical, operational, and policy advice on complex actuarial issues.
* Support strategic planning, program management, and policy development.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on sensitive matters.
* Extract, cleanse, and analyze data from multiple sources to support reporting and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities for APS4 Actuaries:
* Work within defined parameters to support actuarial and data analytics functions.
* Apply established policies and procedures.
* Provide operational and administrative support, conduct research, and analysis.
* Prepare and extract data; utilize software including Microsoft Office and SAS.
* Support actuarial monitoring, scheme projects, and cost-benefit analyses.
