As part of Airflite's Defence ALSE Integrated Logistics Support Team, you'll be supported in your role by technical, logistics and commercial specialists with a strong reputation for supporting this critical Defence capability.
As Training Manager – ALSE, you will play a key role in ensuring Defence personnel are equipped with the skills and knowledge to use and maintain these critical systems and equipments.
To be competitive for this role, you will:
· Be an Australian citizenship holding, or able to obtain, an Australian security clearance.
· Posses a vocational or tertiary qualification in education or training, at minimum Certificate IV level.
· Have experience designing, delivering and assuring competency-based training in an RTO-like or Defence context.
· Have demonstrated capability to conduct Training Needs Analyses and develop modular training packages (theory/practical).
· Have experience establishing validation and moderation processes, and assessment tool governance and audit readiness.
· Demonstrate an awareness Human Factors applied to training design and evaluation.
· Have project management, scheduling and reporting experience.
Candidate competitiveness will be assisted by:
· A TAE ASS502 or Diploma of Training Design and Development (or equivalent).
· A working knowledge of ADF, CASG compliance frameworks, and an appreciation of Defence aviation safety and airworthiness policy.
· Prior experience within an aviation engineering and maintenance environment.
· Familiarity with DEF(AUST) standards, Australia Air Publications, and Defence LMS administration (Adele(P)/LXP).
· Experience implementing 'crawl/walk/run' organisational maturity strategies for training functions.
· Exposure to test instrumentation, simulation, job task replication and fault diagnosis exercises.
· Understanding of configuration management, quality (ISO 9001) and continuous improvement in training systems.
