8CCC AV Event Production is a growing social enterprise developed by 8CCC Community Radio, drawing on decades of experience in media, technology, and community broadcasting to amplify music, arts, and community events across Central Australia.
We deliver professional event services including:
* Live sound, staging, and lighting
* Hybrid events and visual streaming (including sports)
* Event production, stage management, and promotion
* Live radio production – broadcasting community events on 102.1FM
Role Overview
The 8CCC AV Production Crew are responsible for delivering high-quality technical and production services in line with 8CCC policies and procedures, with support from the AV Production Manager.
This role also includes acting as the Lead Event Coordinator for Desert Harmony Festival and Territory Day events delivered in partnership with Barkly Regional Arts.
In this capacity, you will oversee production planning, on-ground coordination, stakeholder liaison, and delivery of these major community events in the Barkly region.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with artists, event organisers, community partners, and members of the public
* Coordinate and deliver event production for Desert Harmony Festival and Territory Day, including schedules, logistics, and crews
* Set up, operate, and maintain lighting, audio, and visual equipment
* Undertake stage building, lifting, and other physical tasks safely
* Work independently and as part of a collaborative production team
* Follow production schedules, SWMS, and run sheets
* Comply with all relevant WHS/OH&S policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as required
Skills & Experience
Knowledge and experience in audio-visual technical service delivery, events, live music, broadcast media, theatre, or stage production is highly desirable.
We also welcome applications from motivated individuals looking to develop production skillsets, with in-house training and ongoing support provided.
