Ruby/.NET Developer – Contract
Central Adelaide Office | Contract to end of March | PAYG or ABN rates
We are looking for a skilled Ruby or .NET Developer to join a dynamic team on a contract basis. This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and improving web applications and APIs, with opportunities for some flexible WFH.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails or .NET frameworks.
* Design and implement relational data models and work with SQL databases.
* Apply Object-Oriented design, Service-Oriented Architecture, and API design principles.
* Integrate systems and applications through APIs, and work with XML and JSON data formats.
* Analyse existing application processes and implement improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions.
* Promote organisational values and maintain high standards of professional behaviour.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in web development with Ruby on Rails or .NET.
* Strong understanding of relational data modelling, SQL, and API integration.
* Skilled in object-oriented programming, XML/JSON, and process improvement.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, JavaScript, frontend development, or identity management (SAML/OAuth) is desirable.
* Graduate degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
