Kangaroo Valley Council is seeking a strategic planning leader to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:
* The ideal candidate will lead a small team undertaking regulatory planning functions within the council.
* The team leader will be responsible for managing a development application caseload, applying technical expertise across all component parts of the development application process.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in a field related to urban and rural planning.
* A minimum of five years' experience in undertaking complex statutory planning in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Exceptional communication skills and experience in managing teams of professional employees.
