Job Title: IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Support Specialist. This role will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various IT systems and hardware components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hardware Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
* Fault Identification: Systematically identify hardware and software faults through diagnostic tools and manual testing
* System Imaging & Installation: Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
* Software Troubleshooting & Updates: Resolve software errors and application conflicts
* Data Sanitization: Perform secure data wiping and sanitization of storage devices in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
* Preventive Maintenance: Clean and maintain internal hardware components to ensure optimal function
* Testing & Quality Control: Run tests to verify proper operation of repaired or reimaged systems
* Inventory & Asset Management: Track inventory levels and update asset records
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience as an IT Technician or helpdesk specialist
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
