Are you an experienced Parts professional ready to take the next step into leadership?
We're seeking a motivated and driven Parts Supervisor to lead our high‐performing team at our Cairns (Kenny Street) branch. You will be responsible for overseeing the day‐to‐day operations of the Parts department, by leading, coaching and developing team morale while ensuring efficient processes, accurate inventory management, and exceptional service delivery to both internal and external customers. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday opportunity, offering long‐term stability and career growth.

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and inspire the Parts team – supervise daily activity to achieve safety, service, and performance targets.
* Oversee daily operations – manage parts interpreting, warehousing, and dispatch to ensure smooth workflows.
* Maintain inventory accuracy – control stock levels, ordering, and inventory integrity to meet operational demands.
* Champion customer service excellence – drive a strong service culture across internal and external interactions.
* Develop and mentor the team – support performance through coaching, training, and leadership development.
* Collaborate across departments – work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless end‐to‐end operations.
* Ensure compliance and safety – adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
* Drive continuous improvement – identify opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and team outcomes.
What You'll Need
* Bring proven parts experience – demonstrated background in a Parts environment, ideally within mining, construction, or heavy industry.
* Lead with confidence – proven leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to guide team performance.
* Apply technical expertise – strong knowledge of parts systems, inventory management, and warehousing processes.
* Communicate effectively – use clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders.
* Motivate and develop people – lead, mentor, and support team members to achieve their best.
* Stay organised and detail‐focused – manage priorities effectively with a high level of accuracy.
* Hold relevant licences – forklift licence highly regarded.
* Think proactively and safely – demonstrate a proactive, safety‐focused mindset at all times.
