Build a career that matters with hands‐on experience as part of Transgrid's Apprentice Program. The program offers real‐world training, the opportunity to work on significant energy infrastructure projects, and a nationally recognised qualification over four years.

Competitive starting salary package of $70, (including 16.5% superannuation). You'll also receive benefits such as a 9‐day fortnight, flexible leave, study assistance and wellbeing initiatives.

• Electrical Substation Technician ApprenticeshipWork on the critical infrastructure that powers communities. You'll maintain, test and commission high‐voltage electrical equipment, learn fault‐finding, safety practices and testing while completing a national qualification.
• Telecommunications Technician ApprenticeshipSupport the network that delivers power. You'll build, commission and maintain fibre‐optic networks, OPGW, microwave systems, radios and other communication equipment, developing installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault‐finding skills.
• Transmission Line Technician ApprenticeshipBuild, inspect and maintain high‐voltage transmission lines and towers. You'll work outdoors, travel between sites, and develop skills in crane operation, tower inspection and working at heights while earning a national qualification.

• 18years old (or turning 18 before commencement).
• Sound literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Genuine interest in a trade career within high‐voltage electricity transmission.
• Current driver's licence or ability to obtain one shortly after start.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, learning and a respectful inclusive workplace.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen.
• Willingness to travel away from home.
• Available to commence in January.
