I am seeking a detail-oriented AP / AR professional with strong organisational and time management skills, and advanced Excel capability. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a proactive attitude, able to work methodically, follow procedures, and manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment. Previous finance experience is essential, as is Intermediate - Advanced level of Excel.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Support high volume bank reconciliations and payments to suppliers
• Assist with weekly debtor and creditor reporting processes
• Contribute to half-year and full-year audit activities and end-of-financial-year procedures
• Manage month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports
• Participate in system upgrades, project testing and migration activities
• Track and report team key performance indicators
• Support payment times reporting to Treasury
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for the business
• Investigate and support implementation of processes, policies and technology solutions
• Support team operations and assist in training new staff members
To be considered and successful in this role, you will have experience in end-to-end AP and AR with knowledge of bank reconciliations, month-end reporting and audit support. Familiarity with process improvement and team support is essential; as is good level of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables...)
