Hudson are proud to be working with an innovative cyber security firm to assist in the expansion of their team with the addition of a pre‐sales engineer. You will have the support of a healthy and successful sales team behind you in an organisation with a great culture, and track record of great growth. You will have the chance to solve unique security/business problems for clients across Australia, true industry leaders in their fields. This role will work with a number of leading technologies across cyber security and IAM, including but not limited to: vulnerability management, SIEM, EDR, IGA, PAM, etc. to design solutions for many of Australia's top brands.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers that the sales team have brought in to understand their requirements
* Design cyber security solutions to meet client needs, leveraging the most appropriate technologies within the offering to do so
* Ensure that the proposed solutions are designed to a level that ensures real world practicality, and is appropriate for a delivery team to action
* Work with vendors to understand their products, and collaborate on solutions for customers
* Lead client workshops to present your designs/PoCs, engaging technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Requirements
* Minimum of 5+ years in a cyber security engineering role, with a history of designing solutions across SIEM, SOAR, IAM, vulnerability management, etc.
* Experience working for, or delivering to enterprise environments and navigating the complexities that come with them
* The ability to look at problems wholistically, and see how your proposed solution fits in with the broader security and IT environment
* Clear, engaging communication style. Able to talk with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to convey security outcomes
* An awareness of Australian cyber regulatory requirements, and an ability to align technical controls to these as required
* Hold an appropriate level of professionalism in presentation, and with the delivery of work in line with deadlines, etc.
* Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
