This role involves leading quantitative research projects to enhance existing strategies and develop new approaches. You will work closely with the portfolio management team and broader investment functions, gaining exposure to portfolio construction, factor-based research, modelling, and trade execution across multiple systematic strategies. You will also provide insights on portfolio performance, optimise implementation costs, and contribute to the day-to-day management of systematic equity portfolios.
We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in systematic equities and quantitative research, ideally with 5+ years' experience in equities-focused investment roles. Experience leading quantitative research projects, designing systematic strategies, programming in Python or R, and contributing to portfolio management is essential. Advanced degrees or CFA qualifications are highly regarded. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and alignment with values of authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration.
