This position is for an Allied Health Professional (CYMHS 529692) / Clinical Nurse Specialist (529692d) in the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub Tasmania. The role will be filled on a merit basis.
Team and Service
CYMHS North is part of an integrated secondary level mental health service for 0-12 year olds, working with families and other providers including DECYP. The multidisciplinary team delivers evidence‐based interventions and supports mild to moderate challenges.
Role
* Support the establishment and ongoing operation of the North programme.
* Undertake assessments, care planning and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families, including culturally appropriate services.
* Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers across primary health, child health, paediatrics, child safety, education and early childhood programs.
* Collect and review client and service outcome data and participate in activities to improve client outcomes.
* Contribute to quality and safety, service development and improvement, and professional development processes and standards.
Eligibility
* Approved allied health professional tertiary qualification and registration with the relevant National Board, or full membership of the relevant professional association.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* All relevant registration/licences must remain current and valid during employment.
* Minimum of 2 years post‐graduate experience in a relevant area (desirable).
* Post‐graduate qualification or pursuing a postgraduate qualification (desirable).
* Current driver's licence (desirable).
Salary and Benefits
Fixed term full‐time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 25 June 2027. Salary range $110,425 – $121,907 per annum with a 12% superannuation contribution. Allowances may include up to $1,000 per annum for professional development.
