About the Role

As a Transport Mechanic with our skilled team, you'll be at the heart of our operations, working alongside experienced professionals including our Workshop Manager Kim, who brings over 40 years of industry expertise to guide and mentor our team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive servicing and maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles, trucks, and trailers for clients ranging from single operators to large fleet owners
Perform detailed diagnostic assessments using our state-of-the-art equipment, including specialized diagnostic laptops for ECU scanning and comprehensive electric diagnostics
Execute tailored preventive maintenance programs designed for each customer's specific needs, typically scheduled every 10,000-20,000 kilometers
Carry out wheel alignments on all ranges of trucks, trailers, cranes and buses
Handle emergency breakdown repairs and callouts, providing both workshop-based services and mobile repairs across Western Australia
Work with advanced systems including EBS (Electronic Braking Systems) programming and installation, brake systems, and specialized transport equipment
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections following our established quality control procedures
Collaborate effectively with our diverse team of welders, mechanics, wheel alignment specialists, and administrative staff
Maintain detailed service records using our MaintainX system and ensure all work meets industry standards
Support our 24/7 breakdown service commitment to keep our customers' operations running
