LOCUM SPEECH PATHOLOGIST
Darwin & Remote Northern Territory | 4-6 Month Contract
An excellent opportunity is available for a Locum Speech Pathologist to join a supportive allied health team based in Darwin, delivering services across Darwin and remote NT communities. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking meaningful work, cultural exposure, and strong operational support while working across a varied caseload.
Location
* Primary base: Darwin, NT
* Outreach: day trips to remote communities, with occasional overnight stays
Accommodation & Transport
* Self‐contained accommodation provided.
* Approx. 15‐minute walk to clinic or Coles complex located 100m away.
* Work vehicle provided during work hours for outreach visits.
Caseload
* Across the lifespan: children, adolescents and adults
* Service delivery includes:
o Clinic‐based therapy
o Schools & childcare centres
o Aged care
o Home visits
* Supported by Allied Health Assistants
Support
* Dedicated admin and finance team
* No responsibility for invoicing or bookings
* Focus on delivering high‐quality clinical care
Contract Details
* Locum position
* Start: ASAP
* Minimum 4 months, preference for 6 months
Requirements
* Qualified Speech Pathologist
* SPA membership / eligibility
* Experience across the lifespan
* Willingness to travel within NT for outreach services
