Primary objective
Provide support on Workforce and recruitment services on a wide range of related corporate and business services for the
Top End Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide a full range of Workforce and Recruitment support to all members of the Top End Mental Health Service -
TEMHS as required.
1. Assist with intrastate, interstate and overseas relocation and accommodation requirements as directed and ensures
relocation requisitions are completed correctly and processed in a timely way.
3. Follow recruitment procedures and assist Managers ensuring staff contracts and cessations are processed promptly and
correctly via electronic recruitment system, follow recruitment procedures, generate reports, respond to queries and
resolve issues related to current staffing ensuring prompt and efficient processing.
1. Assist the Recruitment coordinator and manage staff on boarding functions and reimbursements.
2. Provide a full range of administrative support including, records and information management, purchase orders, credit
card and Electronic Invoice Management System to facilitate recruitment and workforce processes.
1. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being
undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Proven high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to be discrete and confidential, communicate effectively
with all professional disciplines in a diverse cross cultural work environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision whilst in a team.
3. Demonstrated flexibility, initiative and effective time management skills to independently complete work within
deadlines.
4. A sound knowledge of the functions, structure and workforce and recruitment and have transferrable corporate clerical
skills.
5. Proven ability to use a wide range of computer software packages and demonstrated knowledge and experience in
government electronic information systems or similar systems for personnel, travel and payroll management.
6. Demonstrated experience in Travel, Recruitment and Human Resource policies and procedures.
