Due to the growth of the business, WHSmith SupaNews currently have Casual Retail Assistant positions available at the Canberra Store.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Timely, efficient, and courteous customer service
- Process Lotto sales
- Cash handling and standard retail transactions
- Merchandising and stock rotation
- Adhere to all back and front of house processes and procedures
**Skills & Experience**:
- 6 months' experience in a retail environment is desirable (newsagent or convenience store experience will be highly regarded)
- Experience with visual merchandising and cards and gifting industry (highly regarded)
- Lotto experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of busy retail operations with a focus on quality service
- Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality
- Great personal presentation
- Flexibility with work hours
- A team player
