The Opportunity
As Senior Tax Manager - M&A and International Lead, you'll be the key point of contact for all M&A and cross-border tax matters, partnering closely with the Group Head of Tax and senior stakeholders across the business.
You'll play a central role in shaping the organisation's tax strategy - supporting acquisitions, restructures, and growth initiatives - while ensuring robust compliance and governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the tax function's M&A and international capability, supporting the execution of domestic and global transactions.
* Provide end-to-end tax input across corporate restructures, acquisitions, divestments, and other strategic projects - from due diligence and structuring through to implementation.
* Drive tax outcomes for complex transactions including income tax consolidation, duty relief submissions, and state-based obligations.
* Manage international tax compliance and advisory work covering transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, country-by-country reporting, and emerging frameworks such as Pillar II.
* Advise senior stakeholders on the tax implications of business initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organisation's growth and risk strategies.
* Monitor and interpret Australian and international tax law changes, embedding practical process improvements across the group.
* Take ownership of tax authority engagements, audits, and internal risk reviews.
* Contribute to tax reporting, governance, and internal communication of key tax risks and developments.
About You
You'll bring strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a passion for shaping tax strategy in a fast-moving environment. You are likely to have:
* Extensive experience in corporate and M&A tax, ideally from a Big 4 or large corporate background.
* A solid understanding of Australian tax law and an interest in international tax frameworks.
* Proven ability to provide clear, practical, and strategic tax advice to senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound commercial judgment.
* A collaborative, proactive, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic environment.
