Mega Watt Power is part of a family business group that is a privately held national renewable energy company based in Coffs Harbour, NSW. First established in 1989, we are constantly growing and right now we are looking for someone to support our bookkeeping, front office and receptionist duties, and to become an integral member of our lovely team.
A permanent full-time position based in Coffs Harbour is available for immediate start. The successful applicant will report directly to our Accounts Manager
We would be happy to have you with us if:
* You have experience in supporting busy, 'Type A' managers in quick-growth mode.
* You have a minimum of 2 years office experience.
* You know your way around a computer and Microsoft Office. You preferably have experience with MYOB and the ability to learn new software very fast.
* You have excellent phone and email etiquette and know how to engage in professional, friendly, yet polite conversation.
* People like talking to you and you have excellent written communication skills.
* Your data entry abilities are lightning fast and perfectly accurate
* You are passionate, energetic about life and enthusiastic about getting the job at hand completed.
* You have been perceived by others as optimistic, efficient, warm, and resourceful.
* You are open and interested in others but also have a good sense of knowing when it's time to be 'focused on work and being in the zone."
* You are loyal and not known as someone who gives up and quits at the first obstacle or challenge.
* You can do multiple things simultaneously.
* You have experience with MYOB accounting software.
How that perfect day at work will look like – The Role:
This position will be based firstly on bookkeeping support to our Accounts Manager, however, the admin, reception and shop front duties are a very close second. Overall, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
* Bookkeeping duties as directed by our Accounts Manager
* Being the face of Mega Watt Power, greeting all customers and visitors and answering phones and emails
* Front office duties: Assisting customers with all incoming enquiries and supporting our service, installation and sales staff
* Prepare the customer job profile and data entry
* Liaise with customers during their job installation
* Maintain a clean and tidy shop front and office
* Prepare customer's system manuals
* Applying customer deposits, creating and issuing invoices
* Maintain customer folders
* Supporting the day-to-day requirements of the office and staff
* Assisting all internal departments with errands
* General office duties, printing, binding, laminating, mailing and filing, always with care and attention to detail.
