Pay and Role Details
Pay range : A$156, / yr – A$156, / yr (UOM 10 – $156,480 p.a. plus 17% super).
Role type : Full Time, Fixed term for 24 months.
Location : Melbourne Online, University of Melbourne.
Responsibilities
Lead the academic product lifecycle, overseeing end‑to‑end curriculum design, course approvals, learning design, and continuous improvement.
Drive faculty engagement, collaborating with senior academics to embed online education best practices and foster innovation.
Enhance online pedagogy by providing expert guidance on teaching methodologies and leveraging learning analytics to improve course performance.
Manage stakeholder relationships, cultivating partnerships with faculty, academic leaders and university committees to drive strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent in Education, Curriculum Development or a related field.
3‑5 years' experience in academic product management, preferably in higher education or EdTech.
Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Excellent project management skills, capable of executing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
In‑depth knowledge of online pedagogy and instructional design principles.
