Bis Industries is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to perform/assist with the preventative maintenance, repair and servicing of BIS / Customer owned mobile plant and longwall equipment while on customer sites or in the Bis workshop as required.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing breakdown repairs, scheduled servicing, and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults to ensure equipment reliability
- Working both underground and on surface to maintain equipment
- Completing all job-related documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborating with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Adhering to safety procedures, mine site regulations, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- Heavy Vehicle Trade Certification (Diesel Fitter/Mechanic)
- Demonstrated experience on underground mining equipment (mobile & longwall)
- Current RII DES certification and proven competency
- CP Status (Competent Person)
- Knowledge of mine safety regulations and site compliance
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel and work in various field locations
