The Role
As the Irrigation Manager, you'll own the performance of BD Water's irrigation business - from profitable sales to project execution, learning, training staff, all with a strong leadership backing.
We focus on leadership - that includes leading your irrigation & admin team, but also having the irrigation & overall business strategy - including planning and goals, assets & plant decisions, defining new roles within the irrigation division (including engineering, field technicians and admin support), etc.
You will work closely with other managers, irrigation supervisors and our superstar admin team - we're big on teamwork so you certainly won't have to do everything yourself.
First 6-12 months:
You'll work closely with our current Irrigation Manager, Michael, during a 3–6 month training and handover.
After that, Michael will be working on a new opportunity within the business and you will be running irrigation - selling and planning jobs in the commercial and civil irrigation space, integrating with our bores and licensing work.

What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years as an Irrigation Manager (with office/admin experience).
Hands-on in-field irrigation technician experience.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven experience in an irrigation management role with an office/admin component (not just field/supervisor experience).
Technical know-how of irrigation systems & willingness to learn our approach.
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for both team and client interactions.
