The Opportunity
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Engineering Purchasing Co-ordinator will manage the purchasing function related to materials and successfully onboard new suppliers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the receivals and dispatch management of store items including cycle counting, stocktakes, and goods movements.
* Support the site strategy for engineering store setup and management.
* Partner with the Stores & Facilities Team to uphold site presentation and safety standards.
* Coordinate contractors and site resources to maintain site facilities and assets effectively.
* Maintain high levels of communication and coordination with all stakeholders across the site.
* Partner with site planning functions to ensure parts and resources are available as per timelines and quality measures.
Experience That You Will Bring:
You will demonstrate a positive ‘can-do’ attitude with an outcome-focused mindset, demonstrating the following:
* Extensive experience in purchasing and stores management.
* Deep understanding of the stores function and its relationship to engineering and inventory management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in processes and reporting practices using SAP/EAM.
* Lean manufacturing industry experience (desirable).
