Our team assembles and tests the latest products of wireline services, the heart of our work. We collaborate with service delivery teams in mechanical, electronics, and electrical engineering to maintain equipment.
Partner with Cross-Functional Teams
As an Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) Mechanical Electrician, you'll troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies. You'll assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to provide top-notch service delivery to clients and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, logging units, and logging trucks.
* Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and diagnose mechanical electrical equipment for wireline services.
* Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
* Perform preventative maintenance and conduct regular inspections and quality assurance/quality control.
* Identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment policies.
Fuel Your Passion
To succeed in this role, you will:
* Hold an Australian Electrical License with full working rights in Australia.
* Have knowledge of electrical motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
* Hold at least a Diploma in a technical or trade background.
* Be familiar with replacing or reconditioning shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.
* Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Work Flexibly

* Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM with flexibility in work hours and occasional overtime based on operational activities.
* This role requires working in the field with clients across Australia, both on land and offshore.
