Anglicare Central Queensland is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for children in need. As a Family Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting families and carers who open their hearts and homes to these vulnerable individuals.
About the Role:
 * Engage with carers to support children's overall development, fostering strong relationships within the family unit.
 * Utilize observational and evaluation skills to contribute to assessments of children's and carers' needs.
 * Collaborate with Child Safety Services, community agencies, and local stakeholders to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
 * Provide on-call services through a scheduled roster, ensuring the well-being of children at all times.
 * Identify training and developmental needs for carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in their care.
Mandatory Requirements:
 * Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.
