Financial Operations Assistant
* To ensure the smooth functioning of our financial operations, we are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Assistant to manage rates and taxes processing, accruals, reconciliations, and assistant accounting activities.
* Accuracy and integrity of financial data is critical for our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all financial operations are performed with utmost accuracy and integrity.
* The role also involves supporting end-of-month reporting, maintaining vendor relationships, and processing payments on time. This requires strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
* In addition to these tasks, the Financial Operations Assistant will contribute to compliance by identifying and implementing process improvements, and support the financial sustainability of the organisation by providing high-quality financial services.
Key Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as accounting or finance;
* Proven experience in financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger management;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
* A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
