What you need to be eligible
* have Graduated by the end of the 2026 academic year (offers will be subject to graduation and transcript verification)
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
* be prepared to commence full‐time employment in February 2027 located within Melbourne
* hold a valid Australian driver's licence
* Suited to graduates from Town Planning, Planning & Environment, Urban Design, Property, Environmental Planning/Engineering, or related degrees (including those with statutory planning experience or relevant subjects).
About the role
* Support planning activities across statutory and strategic contexts, including document review, planning permit pathways, overlays, planning scheme amendments, and cultural heritage considerations.
* Contribute to brownfield and transmission‐network projects through business‐case reviews, coordinating approvals, preparing forms, and collaborating with Project Delivery and Property teams on land and easement matters.
* Engage with stakeholders, including land advisors, authorities, and community representatives, through clear written and verbal communication and strong coordination skills.
* Apply analytical thinking and attention to detail to interpret planning controls, environmental requirements, and heritage or environmental effects documentation.
