Your New Role
The Food Services Officer oversees the delivery and service of food and catering across the school, including the café, canteen, vending machines and catering for the community. Responsibilities include making, serving and replenishing food, preparing menus, processing payments using the point‐of‐sale system, ensuring healthy food options, and meeting food‐safety standards.

Selection Criteria
* Experience managing day‐to‐day operations of successful food services, including safe food handling, preparation, restocking supplies, and budgeting.
* Experience preparing menus, meals and snacks based on customer feedback and in accordance with food‐safety standards.
* Experience resolving customer complaints regarding food quality or service.
* Ability to achieve targeted KPIs in food services.
* Demonstrated coffee‐making/barista skills or willingness to learn.
* High level of professional collaboration and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Accreditation for support staff in a Catholic school (Category A) or willingness to achieve.
Essential Requirements
* Current NSW Working With Children Check.
* Food handling Certificate.
* Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management is highly desirable.
* Successful candidate will undergo a functional assessment and national criminal history check.
