Job Opportunity: Administration Support Officer
Contract Duration: 6 months
Commencement: Immediate start
Location: Perth, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $39.88 per hour + super
About the Role
The PTA is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Administration Support Officer to join the Network & Infrastructure Division for a 6-month contract. This role is essential in providing general administrative and clerical support, enabling operational staff to focus on core functions.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
P2P data entry and invoice processing for suppliers/contractors
Word processing and basic document control (e.g., formatting)
General data entry
Housekeeping duties including tidying meeting rooms, kitchens, and stationery areas
Maintaining office supplies and kitchen stock
Greeting and assisting visitors (e.g., interview attendees)
Processing direct purchase order requests
Providing backup support for Administrative Officer roles
Participating as a constructive member of the Business Support Branch
Other Duties:
Performing tasks within skill and training limits
Supporting a safe workplace
Contributing to continuous improvement of administrative processes
Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion
Qualifications and Experience
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to liaise effectively across all levels
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
Good planning and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with database applications
