Fairbridge WA Limited is a unique not-for-profit organisation. Fairbridge Village is set on a stunning heritage-listed site in Pinjarra. Hosting camps, weddings, conferences, festivals and large-scale events, our kitchen delivers high-quality food to hundreds of guests each week.
We are seeking a professional, dependable Chef who thrives in a structured, team-focused environment and understands the precision required for bulk catering. You will be working from established recipes and systems within a supportive and experienced hospitality team.
About the Role:
This is not an a la carte position. Our chefs specialise in:
• Large-scale bulk cooking
• Weddings and major events
• Festival-style service
• Buffets and group catering
• Dietary-focused menu delivery
Criteria:
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (after TAFE)
• Certificate Ill in Commercial Cookery
• Strong bulk cooking experience
• Proven ability to follow recipes and production schedules
• Solid understanding of dietary requirements and allergen management
• Honest, reliable and team-oriented
• Own reliable transport
Requirements:
* Current National Police Clearance - or willing to obtain
* Working with Children Check - or willing to obtain
* First Aid certificate
* Valid Western Australian Drivers' Licence
* Food Safety/Food Hygiene Certification
* Have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Applicants must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Visa sponsorship is NOT available
