Pay: $1609 Gross / week starting rate full roster. Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm. Sat Morning 8:30am - 12:30pm.
or
Pay: $1406 Gross / week starting rate. Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm plus rostered Saturday mornings as per above.
Pay and work times negotiable depending on existing skills and experience.
Product & Process training provided to manage quality stock organisation.
Freo Stone Paving has been manufacturing locally and also importing boutique stone paving and feature wall products for over 20 years.
About the company
Our Northern Suburbs team require an organised individual who can maintain stock levels, site presentation and a systematic flow of orders from picking and packing, to truck and light vehicle loading.
The role is based at our Greenwood Display and Stock Centre on the corner of Hepburn Ave and Wanneroo Rd Greenwood and involves -
* Managing stock levels and organisation. Unloading trucks and shipping containers pallets with forklift.
* Assisting homeowners and landscapers with product sampling, packing and dispatch. Fork loading utes, trailers and trucks.
* Maintaining the presentation of the display areas and showroom.
* Assisting your team with the associated internal administration, communication and synergy with our Bibra Lake manufacturing site.
To achieve this you must-
* live local (north of river for long term, sustainable employment).
* be open, honest and reliable.
* be able to operate a forklift thinking and acting safely and maturely on a site accessible to public.
* be physically fit and able to lift safely.
* have an excellent grasp of numbers and calculations.
* converse clearly in English to clients and team alike.
* be able to relate to and respect all persons day to day.
* work energetically as a team, within a team, sharing our \"no task is below me or above me\" attitude.
* present and act professionally, whilst maintaining the friendly, positive and sometimes cheeky manner that is Freo Stone Paving.
* have a current drivers licence and vehicle.
* not bring smoking (or the scent of) to our sites and clients. We are a smoke free workplace.
To set yourself apart you may have experience in
* the building or landscape construction industry, including stone installation.
* sales, customer service or administration.
* machining / cutting stone with hand tools and saws.
* warehousing, stock control and dispatch systems.
* use of strapping, bagging and heat shrinking equipment.
* operation of a small bucket loader.
A negative attitude, laziness or agro has no place in our team and it shall be removed if present.
