They work with business and technical stakeholders to establish data policies, principles, and standards, optimising data capture, security, sharing, and usage. The team also oversees a program to protect ASIC's data assets and manage risk.The roleThe Data Literacy Lead is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to enhance data literacy across analytic specialties and ASIC more broadly. This role involves designing training programs, translating technical concepts for business teams, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will assess data skills across the organization, support change management during the adoption of new data tools, and advocate for responsible data use.More Specifically, You WillLead the Enterprise data literacy program, including strategy development, objective monitoring, data maturity assessments, and timelines for learning initiatives.Create communication and change plans, and materials to promote data literacy activities and outcomes, validating with relevant stakeholders.Partner with Learning and Development to identify data literacy training needs, including course design, participant management, and course evaluation.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training materials, guidance, and tools, delivering continuous learning opportunities through data literacy and analytics programs.Work with external training partners to develop new and customised training content as needed.Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to understand their application in supporting business outcomes.About YouThe ideal candidate for the Data Literacy Lead role will be a dynamic and strategic thinker with a passion for data and education. They will possess a strong background in Data & Information Management and have a proven track record of developing and implementing data and analytics learning programs. They will be adept at translating complex technical concepts into accessible language for business teams and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.In Addition, You Will HaveTertiary qualifications in Information Technology, particularly in data, education/training, change management, social sciences, or equivalent.Extensive experience in developing tailored data literacy training programs and evaluation tools for both technical data teams and non-technical business teams, including executives.Proven experience in integrating change and development learning programs across different hierarchical levels within an organisation, utilizing structured methodologies and tools.Comprehensive knowledge of the data lifecycle and familiarity with common technologies related to data analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, and data science, including artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey messages to diverse audiences.Strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively at all organisational levels.Click ‘apply' to start your application.
