Responsibilities: Lead the design and deployment of complex Layer 1 to Layer 3 network solutions Provide technical input into proposals, tenders, and solution architectures Design and document optical and IP networks, including DWDM, OTN, and carrier-grade Ethernet Contribute to presales efforts, including customer consultations, solution scoping, and technical presentations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery Provide technical mentorship and act as an escalation point for the engineering team Stay current with emerging technologies and provide input into strategic direction Required Skills/Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong track record in design and implementation Hands-on experience with optical networking (DWDM, OTN, fibre infrastructure) is essential Sound knowledge of IP networking, including routing, switching, and MPLS Experience working directly with clients or internal stakeholders in a presales or consultative capacity Familiarity with major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills Industry certifications (e.g. CCNP, JNCIP, or optical vendor certs) are highly regarded Benefits: Be part of a technically elite team working on nationwide, high-impact projects Engage in both hands-on engineering and client-facing, strategic activities Access cutting-edge tech, continuous training, and explicit career development pathways Salary: $140,000 per annum
