Freyssinet Australia is seeking an experienced
Engineering Team Leader
to join our
Remedial Engineering Services
division, based in
Melbourne
. This is a strategic leadership role focused on overseeing the Victorian region's remedial engineering operations, including business development, project delivery, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff across remedial and cathodic protection design projects
* Oversee the delivery of maintenance and monitoring contracts
* Drive business development and build strong client relationships within the Victorian market
* Provide technical and commercial oversight of projects
* Coordinate with national teams and support internal initiatives as required
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, with exposure to remedial works and cathodic protection preferred
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Strong engineering design and project management skills
* Commercial and financial acumen
* Ability to operate autonomously and lead the local strategy
* Local industry knowledge and market familiarity
* Materials Engineer - Degree Qualified
Role Details
* Vehicle: Car allowance provided
* Tools: Laptop and mobile phone supplied
* Location: Melbourne-based, with occasional interstate travel
Preferred Candidate
We are looking for a locally based engineering professional with a strong understanding of the Victorian remedial market. A background in engineering design and project execution, combined with commercial awareness and leadership skills, will be key to success in this role.
