About the Role
Reporting to the Development Team Lead, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining critical applications across Magentus. Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll build new features, enhance existing products, and continuously improve our software architecture.
Key responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
* Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams
* Analyse user needs to ensure performance, quality, and usability
* Contribute to system architecture and product innovation
* Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team
* Support continuous improvement of development and release practices
About You
You're a motivated software engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working in a team-driven environment.
You'll bring:
* A degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years' experience with C++, C, and Linux
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery.
* Experience with real-time applications
* Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare or medical devices
* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
