We are looking to hire a Growth Partner (Business Development) for a large national client of ours with offices in Brisbane.

In a traditional sense, your role is to acquire new business and retain existing business to grow company revenue and market share. You will be working closely with the Sales Manager and Solutions Consultants to drive whole-of business sales outcomes and extend market reach. A considerable success driver of the role will be the ability to generate opportunities from prospect lists through a combination of Digital engagement, cold engagement and other lead generation activities.

However, this is not your typical sales role, you'll act more like a strategic advisor or technical pre-sales partner — uncovering pain points, identifying business inefficiencies, and unlocking opportunities to transform the way your clients work.

You'll help organisations rethink outdated systems and shift from legacy tools to modern, integrated technologies across AV, IT, cyber, cloud, and smart office solutions. Often, you'll be selling solutions that don't even exist yet — co-creating them with our delivery teams and shaping entirely new ways of working.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering upon agreed sales targets in the acquisition of new clients.

• Managing the development of a balanced and sustainable pipeline to deliver long term sales goals.

• Implementing upon customer experience strategies to minimise churn and improve Brand in market.

• Working collaboratively with the Customer Management Team to ensure cross sell opportunities are identified and action all leads for this function.

YOU WILL SELL AN INNOVATIVE PORTFOLIO, INCLUDING:

• Digital Workspace Tools – Room/desk booking platforms, visitor management systems, hybrid working analytics.

• AV & Collaboration Solutions – High-performance video conferencing, Microsoft Teams Rooms, boardroom and huddle-space technology.

• IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services – Secure network design, device provisioning, Microsoft Azure and AWS integration.

• AI & Cybersecurity Solutions – Including DOP's partnership with Ironclad ID to deliver 'Atlas', a world-first AI cyber assistant to eliminate social engineering attacks.

• Furniture & Fit-Out Integration – Ergonomic office furniture, smart layouts, and workplace design tailored for hybrid work.

• Mobility Solutions – End-to-end mobile device lifecycle management, MDM (Mobile Device Management), threat defence, expense management, and Telstra-powered wireless solutions.

• Managed Services – Covering network and device management (as a Cisco Meraki partner), unified communications, AV integration, IT service management (ITSM), and ongoing cybersecurity protection.

• Confidence, communication and collaboration at your heart. You build trust with everyone from IT leaders to office managers, translating complex needs into clear, actionable outcomes.

• A strong background in Business Development, commercially astute with sound understanding of business drivers.

• Ability to build a pipeline of opportunities through consistently achieving high levels of prospecting activity.

• Extensive relationship / strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors.

• Strong presentation skills - written & verbal to internal and external senior executives.

• Personal dedication and willingness to accept accountability for actions complimented by effective negotiation skills, able to manage external and internal relationships with ease.
