The opportunity
As an Indirect Tax Specialist, you'll advise global and local well‑known organizations on their Indirect Tax obligations. You will help clients manage indirect tax risks, comply efficiently with regulatory requirements, and identify opportunities to improve their overall indirect tax position. This includes identifying risk areas through assurance and due diligence reviews, and assisting in delivering a range of data analytics and tax technology services. Working across multiple projects and clients, you will have the opportunity to advise on key indirect tax issues and help clients adopt developing technologies that support their business goals.
This is a hybrid position based in Meanjin – Brisbane. Roles can be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Experience in the field of GST, preferably from a law firm or within a professional services accounting firm.
* Experience in running complex GST technical matters for clients and assisting clients with ATO engagements.
* Experience in using technology, with practical examples of how this has been applied in previous roles.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Strong GST knowledge and experience in a professional services context.
* Ability to manage complex technical matters and coordinate with regulatory bodies.
* Proficiency in technology solutions and data analytics relevant to indirect tax.
* Excellent communication and client‑management skills.
