Cost Estimation Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cost Estimation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing cost estimation, analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities which require a high degree of technical skill.
You will prepare cost studies, review cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
* Performs generally non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
* Coordinates the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
* Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports.
* Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
* Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
* Investigates the requirements for estimating and/or cost control data.
* Collects and classifies cost data.
* Performs budget allocation and reporting/cost control regime for specific construction discipline or group of disciplines.
* Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or demonstrated, relevant experience in lieu of degree.
* Solid project controls experience in cost control including reporting.
* Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Extensive cost engineering experience with previous experience on large/complex projects.
* Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
* Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing and solving problems.
