Job Description
* Develop electronic systems for UAV platforms, including designing and testing schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents.
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. As an integral member of our defence project environment, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and developing electronic systems for UAVs, ensuring high-performance and reliability.
* Maintaining and developing schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents.
* Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
* Overseeing prototyping builds, testing, and field deployment of electrical systems.
* Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during assembly, testing, and field deployment.
* Creating and managing electrical architecture for UAVs, including power distribution, signal integrity, and system integration.
* Ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC regulations and standards.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering with a strong RF/microwave/photonics background.
* Proven experience in defence project environments, particularly with unmanned aerial systems.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.
