The Gymnastics Assistant Coach position is a training position to give you the skills and knowledge to transition into the position of Gymnastics Coach. You will have experience and/or a drive to grow your skills in coaching children’s gymnastics classes; across all levels from beginner to advanced and a variety of age groups. You will communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and management.Our Gymnastics program has close to 900 enrolments from ages 8 weeks through to adults. In this role we will work with you to develop your skills in coaching with a focus on ages 4 years to 16 years with an aim to develop your skills across a 4-6 month period to get you qualified as a Gymnastics Coach; coaching your own groups under a supervisor.About You:You will have strong customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed member expectations, with the ability to work both alongside a mentor coach and autonomously on the gym floor, as well as part of a team to ensure an efficient flow through the gymnastics hall each night.
