Job Description:
St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac, and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology, and pharmacy are also available on site.
About the Opportunity:
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified Registered Nurses wishing to obtain permanent employment within the facility in the role of After-Hours Nurse Manager. This position requires successful candidates to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care through efficient management of staffing resources and bed management. The role involves providing effective leadership and coordination of patient flow, while upholding the mission of St Vincent's Health Australia, in an after-hours capacity.

Things that work for us:
* Registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
* Applicants with a minimum of five (5) years' experience are desirable
* Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
* Ability to motivate, provide leadership, and coordinate team members
* Problem solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills; demonstrated ability to lead and implement change in a complex environment
* Ability to ensure clinical practice aligns with ACHS, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and ANMC guidelines
* Ability to coordinate the functioning of the service and provide clinical leadership across the continuum of care
* Ability to manage clinical and non-clinical risks, infection control, and emergency situations in the after-hours environment
