About The RoleBand 4 - base salary from $123,000 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experienceAt TasNetworks, we are building smarter, more resilient energy networks by combining data-driven insights with sound operational strategy. We’re looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Data Analyst to help us optimise the planning and delivery of our 1–5 year rolling Program of Work (POW) for transmission and distribution assets.This role will see you –Design, build, and maintain PowerBI dashboards, reports and visualisations that align with evolving business needs and strategic objectivesUtilising Power Query and SQL to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources, maintaining high standards of data accuracy and reliabilityProvide data management and analytics capability to support the optimisation of work programs and planning within an 18-24 month horizon as part of the long-term PoWSupport data-driven decision making through transparent monitoring and reporting of asset condition, risk profiles, and work program performanceAbout YouTo be successful as a Program of Work Performance and Risk Analyst, you’re both analytical and business-savvy - equally comfortable diving into datasets as you are discussing operational goals with a diverse range of stakeholders. You bring a problem-solving mindset and a passion for using data to influence strategic outcomes.You will demonstrate proven capability and experience in the following areas –Strong experience in Power BI, including dashboard design, DAX, data modelling, and Power Query.Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases and enterprise data systems.Solid understanding of data architecture, modelling best practices, and transforming raw data into insights.Demonstrated ability to create high-quality visualisations that inform and influence business planning.Experience supporting large-scale programs or portfolios, ideally in an asset-intensive industry (e.g. utilities, infrastructure, energy).Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data quality and process improvement.Excellent communication skills and ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.What's on offerThis is a permanent full-time opportunity, offering an attractive remuneration and benefits package.At TasNetworks we want to power a bright future for our people, our community and our customers.
