Join a thriving, family-owned business known for crafting high-quality custom commercial cabinetry based in Mile End. We are looking to assist them in filling 2 permanent positions with an immediate start for experienced joinery installers. Based in Mile End our clients have been producing and installing quality bespoke joinery, shop fit-outs and shop frontages for over 40 years, servicing national contracts with high-profile retail outlets.
Your new role:
Cabinet Maker:
Based in the factory, you'll collaborate with a skilled team to craft custom cabinetry tailored to client specifications. You'll interpret detailed plans and produce high-end workmanship, ensuring each piece is ready for seamless on-site installation. This permanent role offers an immediate start in a supportive, family-owned business where quality and pride in craftsmanship are valued every day.
Installer:
You'll be working on-site to bring bespoke designs to life, assembling and installing cabinetry with precision and pride. If you have a strong background in cabinet manufacturing and installation, and enjoy working in a supportive, hands-on team environment this is your chance!
The main duty of this role is the production of high-quality custom joinery. Our clients work across a range of industries, including:
- Fashion
- Hospitality
- Medical
- Office/Commercial fit-outs
What you'll need to succeed:
- White card
- C class licence (no restrictions)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
- Have your own hand tools and drill
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Friendly and approachable disposition
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to work as a part of a team
Desirable skills and qualifications include:
- Completed relevant apprenticeship (Certificate III Cabinetmaking or higher)
- Installation experience
- Working at Heights Ticket
- Forklift Licence
This is not a carpentry role; our client is only interested in looking at qualified Cabinetmakers / Joiners.
