OnTalent is delighted to partner with Logan Water to recruit the unique position of Integrated Service Hub (ISH) Lead. Logan Water’s vision is to be Reliable, Sustainable and Committed to providing safe, and sustainable water and wastewater services for the benefit of the Logan community.
The ISH provides an end-to-end capability for managing day-to-day service delivery including initial customer contact, work triage and planning, scheduling, and dispatching, and operational monitoring via SCADA, to effectively maintain service continuity for customers and ensure Council’s desired standards of service are consistently always achieved.
Reporting to the Water Operations Program Leader, you will actively lead the end-to-end operation of the Logan Water Integrated Service Hub (ISH) with primary accountability for the day-to-day monitoring and management of integrated operational control systems for all water and wastewater assets in City of Logan, with a view to scaling this responsibility across new Energy and Sustainability assets and services.
You will lead the coordination of cross-functional integrated services which incorporates approximately ten people including customer agents, schedulers, Duty Officers, and planners to ensure cohesive operation of the 24/7 Integrated Service Hub,
You are a key member of the Logan Water Operations Program in Service Delivery, which focuses on smart operating technology, significant and continuous people management investment, data analytics to enable optimised, efficient, and commercially sustainable network and asset performance and consistent compliance with Logan Water’s environmental and regulatory requirements and benchmarks.
What do you need to bring to Logan Water?
- Demonstrated experience in SCADA operations, computerised control systems configuration change management, and alarm monitoring and response related to water and wastewater utilities or a similar industry
- A passion for, and demonstrable experience in, managing and developing diverse teams of trade, and para/qualified staff to work and grow cohesively to deliver critical, integrated outcomes for the City.
- Proven experience in managing utility-based emergency issues such as large-scale breakdowns or network incidents and the ability to make prompt reliable and economical decisions within bounds of allocated responsibilities
- Success in building and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, colleagues, and clients to deliver agreed outcomes on time, budget, and quality
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders, and the ability to prepare complex written reports
- Formal qualifications in engineering (or equivalent) and eligibility to become a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and maintain registration as a RPEQ would be advantageous.
- Possession of a current “C” class driver’s licence
