About the Role Our client located in Petersham is seeking a friendly, motivated and professional Customer Service Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality service to the community. You will provide accurate information and assistance to customers across multiple channels including contact centre, front counter and administrative support functions. Key Duties Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face Process applications, requests and complaints in Council systems Provide clear, accurate and consistent information Maintain customer records and data entry in CRM systems Process payments and perform end-of-day balancing Promote Council services and online tools Support contact centre, front counter and admin functions as required Work collaboratively to meet service standards and targets What We're Looking For Experience in customer service (contact centre, front counter or admin) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage high-volume enquiries in a fast-paced environment Good computer skills and ability to use multiple systems Strong organisation and time management skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable: Relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Call Centre or Administration) Cash handling experience Driver's Licence
