A rapidly expanding private lending firm is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to support its growing presence in the commercial property lending space. The business prides itself on providing flexible, tailored funding solutions and delivering a highly personalised experience to clients.


Your new role

This role is ideal for a motivated BDM who thrives on building strong networks, developing trusted partnerships, and helping scale a high‑performing loan portfolio.

* Grow and nurture relationships with new and existing brokers and clients.

* Collaborate with leadership to design and implement innovative lead‑generation strategies.

* Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.

* Clearly communicate the organisation's lending solutions and unique value proposition to the market.

* Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking functions nationally.


What you'll need to succeed

* Solid understanding of commercial lending practices and process across land and build form, with construction finance experience.

* Strong ability to analyse credit and assess prospective transactions.

* Experience in business development or broker relationship management.

* An established network across the mortgage broker and property development community.

* Ability to build genuine, long‑lasting relationships with brokers and clients.

* Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a drive to take initiative.

* Clear, confident communication skills and strong negotiation ability.

* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high‑performing, well‑supported team environment.
