About Us
Marist College, Emerald is a Catholic co-educational secondary college situated in the Central Highlands, three hours west of Rockhampton. The College draws students from Emerald as well as surrounding rural areas including Gindie, Springsure, the Gemfields, Clermont, Blackwater, Tieri, Capella and many rural properties and currently caters for years with an enrolment of 700 students.
Your Role
The Facilities Manager manages the facilities responsibilities of the College and provides strategic planning and advice to the Principal and Finance Manager. The role ensures a high standard of safety applies to all facilities and that all duties are completed to an acceptable standard. The Facilities Manager will maintain the outdoor and indoor environment, ensuring attractive and well-maintained lawns, gardens and grounds create a positive first impression and a peaceful mood.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of, and commitment to, the ethos of Catholic Education. Excellent people skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to support students, staff and parents are essential.
