We currently have an opportunity in Canberra for a Systems Engineers with experience in RF technology and SATCOM systems to join an industry leader. This is a critical role within the business that will be responsible for the development, deployment and support of a cutting edge SATCOM equipment/systems being developed to directly enhance capability to the ADF.
This is a 6 Month contract opportunity with potential extensions based in Canberra. Due to the nature of this project the successful candidate will require an active NV1 or NV2 clearance.

Responsibilities:
* Development, Deployment and Support of mission critical SATCOM systems
* Support systems engineering design requirements and reviews
* Derive system requirements, define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviews
* Conduct risk reduction trials and acceptance testing
* Act as the SME for in-service and emerging systems
* Foster a working environment that is focused on meeting the requirements of customers, both external and internal
Skills & Experience required:
* Bachelor of Engineering
* Experience with design and development of SATCOM systems
* Experience with Wide band or narrow band systems is highly desirable
* Firm understanding of design definition, design development and verification
* Knowledge of Defence project life cycle
* Meet ITAR compliancy
