Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this integral role will support the Purchasing & Receiving function in the hotel procurement of goods and services. R esponsibilities include, but are not limited to; Identify potential suppliers and research their offers; Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers; Create purchase orders on Birchstreet and ensure they are approved; Track orders by monitoring delivery status and ensure they are no delays; Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reorder supplies as needed; Review and approve invoices for payment; Resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or deliveries; Analyze market trends and make recommendations for cost savings to meet financial objectives; Collaborate with other departments to identify purchasing & recieving needs; Maintain records and keep records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
