First Ever is a sports apparel and e-commerce company with solid community engagement in local teamwear apparel as well as professional leagues including the NBL (National Basketball League) working exclusively as apparel provider under the iconic Champion brand. We manage our own design, product development, production and sales distribution in house.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring First Ever is fulfilling the operations and executions of our key accounts. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships, implementing, and following process, whilst finding a way to maximize sales opportunities within key accounts. You will also lead the operational execution for these accounts support supply chain directives by evaluating logístical requirements, order management and operating budgets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Management of all Key Accounts inclusive of the NBL Apparel program, Champion Teamwear and First Ever Custom Teamwear.
- Understand both the contractual and client expectations for the NBL program to ensure successful deliverables.
- Work with the GM to successfully roll out the NBL programs and products for the league and the 10 clubs.
- Define and develop processes to measure and monitor the financial aspects of each project/account performance.
- Quote preparation and responsibility for accurate invoicing within your key accounts. Inclusive of purchase order and sales order creation.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Assist in growing and developing existing accounts with the aim to generate new business.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships to improve levels of customer service and deliver outcomes.
- New product development administration including product style code creation, upload into inventory system and maintaining product data integrity.
- Managing preparation of new range board presentations for third party retailers and clubs.
- Prepare quotes and schedules for prospective new clients.
- Work closely with the production and design departments to ensure on time and accurate delivery of all products.
**Requirements**:
- Experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role within the sports industry.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Strong administration capabilities in particular Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory systems.
- Ability to learn new technology platforms quickly and efficiently eg Cin7 Inventory Management, Xero
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with positive attitude that's capable of working under pressure
- Understanding of sports garments with a focus on sublimation is helpful.
