Support Worker / Disability Support Worker – NDIS SIL
We are seeking Support Workers / Disability Support Workers to provide high quality disability support, personal care, community access support and Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. QLSS is a registered NDIS provider delivering 24/7 disability support across North Queensland.
This role is ideal for people experienced in disability support, aged care, community support or people wanting to grow their career in NDIS services.
About the Role
As a Support Worker / Disability Support Worker, you will provide:
• Personal care (showering, hygiene, dressing, toileting)
• Daily living support and household tasks
• Medication support and documentation
• Community access and social participation
• Meal preparation and safety routines
• SIL support within structured home environments
• Accurate shift notes and behaviour support documentation
• Person centred support under NDIS plans
Essential Requirements
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Driver’s licence and reliable insured vehicle
• Ability to work independently and in SIL teams
• Professional, reliable, calm under pressure
Desirable
• Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or Aged Care
• Experience as a Support Worker, Disability Support Worker, Community Support Worker, AIN or Mental Health Worker
• Experience with NDIS supports or SIL environments
